Caravan & Motorhome Fire Safety Pack

The Caravan & Motorhome Fire Safety Pack has been put together to support both early warning and small fire response while travelling, touring or staying on site. It includes a smoke alarm, carbon monoxide detector, fire blanket and compact extinguisher, giving caravan and motorhome users a practical set of fire safety essentials in one pack.

Smoke detection is provided by the WisuAlarm battery smoke alarm, which features a 10-year smoke sensor and two replaceable AA batteries with an expected battery life of up to five years. The replaceable battery design is particularly useful for caravans and motorhomes, as the batteries can be removed during longer periods of storage or transport. The alarm also includes an 85dB sounder, test and silence button and low-battery warning.

The WisuAlarm DHI-HY-GC20D carbon monoxide detector helps monitor for dangerous CO levels using an electrochemical sensor. Its LCD screen shows a live carbon monoxide concentration reading, while the sealed 10-year lithium battery removes the need for routine battery replacement. The compact unit can be wall mounted or used free-standing, making it easy to position within a caravan or motorhome.

For small fire incidents, the pack includes a 1.2m x 1.2m FireSmart soft-case fire blanket. It is suitable for helping smother small pan, waste bin and clothing fires, with a clearly marked soft pouch that keeps the blanket protected and easy to access. The blanket is Kitemarked to BS EN 1869:2019.

The pack is completed with a 500ml MultiMax L-Ion Multipurpose Fire Extinguisher. Its PFAS-free, non-conductive multipurpose agent is suitable for Class A, Class B, electrical, Class F and lithium-ion battery fires. The compact size makes it easier to store in caravans, motorhomes and other areas where space is limited.
